iGaming

iGaming is the online real-money gambling industry: casino games, slots, live dealer tables, sportsbook betting, poker and lottery delivered over the internet.

Game aggregator

A game aggregator is a supplier that contracts with many game studios and exposes all of them to operators through a single API integration.

GGR (Gross Gaming Revenue)

GGR, or gross gaming revenue, is the total amount players wagered minus the total amount they won over a given period.

RTP (Return to Player)

RTP, or return to player, is the percentage of all money wagered on a game that the game pays back to players over a very large number of rounds.

RNG (Random Number Generator)

An RNG, or random number generator, is the algorithm that produces the unpredictable outcomes behind every slot spin, card deal and virtual game result.

Seamless wallet

A seamless wallet keeps the single authoritative player balance on the operator's side, and the game supplier calls the operator for every balance check, bet, win and rollback.

HMAC signature

An HMAC signature is a keyed hash of the exact request body that lets the receiver prove the message came from the holder of the shared secret and was not modified in transit.

Sportsbook

A sportsbook is the business that accepts bets on sporting events, publishing odds for each outcome and paying out winning tickets at those odds.

Provably fair

Provably fair is a cryptographic scheme that lets a player independently verify that a game result was fixed before their bet and was not altered afterwards.

House edge

The house edge is the percentage of every wager a game keeps on average over the long run, equal to 100% minus the game's RTP.
